Coaches

Marist Hockey encourages senior players to coach junior teams.

All coaches must email a copy of their Working With Vulnerable People Card to secretary@maristcanberrahockey.org.au before they commence in their role. This will be shared with the College for their records. Note: the card must be carried with you at all times when acting in the role of Coach.

All coaches must adhere to the Working With Vulnerable People requirements, further information can be found on the ACT Government website.

Club volunteers should become familiar with and adhere to the codes of conduct at all times:

​Coaching courses

Marist Hockey coaches are encouraged to enrol and complete the Level 1 Coach Accreditation through Hockey ACT. For information on this course courses, visit the Hockey ACT website.  ​
