Marist Hockey Club Information
The Marist Hockey Club is run by a Committee of parents and volunteers. The Committee meets regularly throughout the year. The Committee welcomes all parents to attend meetings throughout the year.

Executive Role Descriptions/Duties
President - Oversees the smooth operation of the Club, including chairing meetings and representing the Club at College and Hockey ACT meetings.
Vice President - Assists the President in the management of the Club and acts in the role of the President in the President’s absence.
Secretary - Maintains the records of the Club and manages Club communications, including Club newsletters, website and social media presence. The Secretary is also the primary point of contact for member and general enquiries.
Treasurer - Manages and provides reporting on the Finances of the Club necessary to support Club decision making.
Registrar - Responsible for coordinating and managing the registration of all playing members.
Non-Executive Role Descriptions/Duties
Equipment Manager - Ensures teams have the playing and training equipment required, including First Aid Equipment.
Development Officer - Recruits and coordinates Coaches, coordinates player grading and team selection and coordinates skill development for players and Club umpires.
Fundraising/Sponsorship Coordinator – Oversees fundraising activities and sponsorship (money or goods) opportunities.
Umpire Coordinator - Manages the Club umpiring commitment for both seasons.
Merchandise Coordinator - Coordinates Club merchandise ordering and sales.
Training Supervisor - Oversees weekly (Wednesday afternoon) training during the outdoor season.
Indoor Coordinator - Oversees preparation for the Indoor season, including grading.
Communication Coordinator - Works with the Secretary to provide timely communication to Club members, the College and the Community. This may include newsletters and social media content.
General Committee Members - Assist the Committee as required.
