Senior Fundamentals Coaching
Marist College Canberra Hockey Club is one of the first clubs to be involved in Hockey ACT’s new Fundamentals coaching program beginning Thursday 20 February 2020.
Senior school students that would like to coach in 2020 are invited to attend and support the Junior Skills Training Clinic. This will count towards Marist Mates points and towards attainment of the Hockey Australia Community Coaching certificate. Please note that priority will be given to students that can commit to the full 8 week program and will follow-on with coaching (head coach or assistant) a junior team in the 2020 season. We hope to enough interest to group senior students (Yrs 10-12) with middle school students (Yrs 7-9) to develop junior coaches within the club.
Please RSVP to [email protected] as a junior player or Coach so that we can confirm numbers. Please provide student name, their class, your emergency contact details and any special considerations in the email.
